Tri-County Family Connection offers one-time scholarships each year to one senior student of Wheeler County, one senior of Treutlen County, and one senior of Montgomery County. The scholarship recipient must apply and meet eligibility requirements. The 2019 requirements are below:
High School Seniors who:
- Have obtained a GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
You must include an unofficial transcript from the guidance counselor
indicating what your score is on a 4.0 scale.
- Submission of an essay (no more than 500 words) on what is your intended
major, future plans, why you deserve to receive this scholarship and a list
of the various activities/projects/clubs you have assisted with during your
high school career.
- Copy of acceptance letter stating you have been accepted into an
accredited college/university, vocational or technical school. The letter
must be on the official letterhead of the school you have been accepted to.
- Have met the MARCH 29, 2019 submission deadline and filled
out application completely.
- Have included three letters of recommendation from someone who is NOT
related to the applicant – examples include: school personnel, minister
(spiritual leader) and community service organization, supervisor, etc.
Application should be received by the MARCH 29, 2019 deadline. Give your packet – which should include the following: the completed application form; an official high school transcript; three letters of recommendation; list of community service rendered; essay and proof of college or university acceptance — to:
